Launched in 2001, Qualifying.org® is based on the founder's mission of training professionals to use psychological tools in the most effective and appropriate ways. With over twenty-five years of work with the MBTI®, FIRO-B® , and Strong Interest Inventory® instruments, the goal is to integrate the lessons of this experience into using these tools with the best practices today. Other tools we work with are the CPI 260™, EQ-i 2.0 ®, EQ 360™, TAIS®, VOICES®, and Type 360® meet our standards of scientific soundness.

The Founder, Dr. Roger R. Pearman, worked on the faculty and staff of Wake Forest University, Salem College, and High Point University. He has been the Vice President of Operations for Key Risk Management Services, a financial services company, and President of a training and development company. Dr. Pearman has a long and productive relationship with the Center for Creative Leadership® as a researcher, adjunct faculty, and coach. In all of these roles, he has actively integrated the use of the psychological tools into programs to promote self-awareness and growth of colleagues and staff. This wealth of experience influences his vision for the services of Qualifying.Org®.

He is the winner of the Myers Research (1997) and McCaulley Contribution (1999) Awards, a member of the Research Review Board for Consulting Psychologists Press, Inc., and past president of the Association for Psychological Type.

Dr. Pearman completed his bachelor's and master's degrees from Wake Forest University and his doctoral degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. His doctoral studies focused on variables related to leadership performance.
